On November 22, 2023, a public lecture on the topic «Humanitarian aid and global responsible leadership in international relations» was conducted by Elizabeth Lahiff, Program Director of Alight in Ukraine, specialist in international rights and development, recovery and reintegration, as part of the project implementation «EU Global Responsible Leadership: Climate Change, Environmental Protection and Humanitarian Aid» (EU_LEAD), and with the support of the Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet.
The speaker has significant professional experience in the areas of economic recovery, the establishment of market and legal systems with an emphasis on inclusive development in conflict-affected and developing countries. She managed international programs in Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
The lecture will start at 10:00 a.m. in the room 313 in the IV academic building of Lviv Polytechnic National University. The language of the lecture is English.
The event is organized by members of the EU_LEAD team: Professor Yaryna Turchyn, Professor Teresa Astramowicz-Leyk, Associate Professors Olha Ivasechko and Oleh Tsebenko, and student Yuliia Vaida.
