The Department of International Relations and the Faculty of Mining and Ecology, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, together with the Educational and Scientific Center «European Studies for Technical Specialties», Lviv Polytechnic National University, invite everyone to participate in an online meeting with teams of successful Jean Monnet projects within the framework of the project «Integration of EU frameworks and norms in the field of block stone industry in Ukraine» (INTEUAS, 101085202-INTEUAS-ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
The purpose of the event is to establish cooperation between universities that have experience in implementing projects in this area and institutions that are either just starting their journey within the framework of Jean Monet projects, or are looking for ideas for preparing their own projects.
As part of the meeting, it is planned to discuss ideas for the preparation of joint project applications for the upcoming contests of the Erasmus+ program.
The event also provides for the organization of an interactive class for students on the topic «The European Union and opportunities for young people» from the EUSTS project team, Lviv Polytechnic National University: Associate Professor Olha Ivasechko, Associate Professor Oleh Tsebenko, and Yulia Vaida, a graduate of the project «EU Eastern Partnership Initiative: Opportunities for Ukraine», ambassador of European youth, project manager of the Girls Diplomatic Academy in the public organization «Women’s League», a 4th-year student of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
The event will include:
- a short lecture-discussion on the topic «EU as an actor of international relations»;
- acquainting students with the EU initiative «Ambassadors of European Youth» and the specifics of implementing projects with the support of the EU4Youth Alumni Network program;
- interactive activities through the use of the Miro platform and the Kahoot online service to form the knowledge of the participants about the institutional organization of the European Union.
The event will be held at 12:00 on November 23, 2022. An interactive class for students will take place from 15:00 to 16:30 on the Google Meet platform.
