On February 11, 2021 the Interuniversity roundtable on Kazimierz Twardowski and his Ukrainian students will begin at 11:00 on the Zoom platform. The organizers are the Department of Philosophy, Lviv Polytechnic National University, and the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Socio-Economic Disciplines, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The Interuniversity roundtable on Kazimierz Twardowski and his Ukrainian students is dedicated to the analysis of methodological and thematic influence of Kazimierz Twardowski (1866–1938), the founder of the Lviv Philosophical School, on Ukrainians who knew him, attended his lectures and seminars. During the roundtable discussion, its participants will find out how Ukrainian intellectuals, philosophers and activists developed philosophy and methodology of philosophical research proposed by the Polish philosopher, whether they made any changes, were innovators and deviated from the route of the School.
The roundtable on Kazimierz Twardowski and his Ukrainian students is one of the events within the framework of Philosophy Workshops organized by the Center for Tradition Studies, the Lviv-Warsaw School (Warsaw, Poland) and Kazimierz Twardowski Philosophical Society of Lviv (Lviv-Warsaw).
