International Winter School «Intercultural Communication: Trends and Challenges» from the Department of Applied Linguistics

In today’s world, it is difficult to overestimate the importance of being able to communicate successfully. And taking into account the development of society in the context of global dialogue of cultures, the problem of intercultural communication becomes especially relevant.

For the formation of soft communication skills in teachers, postgraduate students, as well as students majoring in Philology, the Department of Applied Linguistics, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University, invites you to participate in the International Winter School «Intercultural Communication: Trends and Challenges».

The event will take place from February 12 to 23, 2024 on the Zoom platform. Classes will start at 18:25.

A special guest is Oksana Havryliv, Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna, head of the Project Department, a translator who is actively working in the field of research on verbal aggression and its countermeasures in the modern world, researching intercultural communication, conducting seminars, lectures and reports for students and teachers both at the University of Vienna, as well as within the framework of international cooperation.
