The International Scientific and Practical Conference on the Problems of Dynamics and Strength of Engineering Structures will be held online on June 18–19, 2024.
The organizer of the scientific meeting is the Department of Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics, the Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Systems, Lviv Polytechnic National University. The co-organizers are the Politechnika Bydgoska im. Jana i Jędrzeja Śniadeckich (Bydgoszcz, Poland), the Polytechnic University of Timisoara (Romania) and the Ukrainian Society of Mechanics Destruction of Materials.
The purpose of the conference is:
- to learn more about the work of employees in the field of dynamics and strength of engineering structures;
- to exchange experience regarding ways of introducing innovations into the educational process.
Academics, scientists, specialists, experts, postgraduate students and students are invited to participate in the event. Working languages are Ukrainian, Polish and English. The form of participation in the conference is remote on the Zoom platform.
The conference materials, recommended by the organizing committee after finalizing the article and conducting an independent review, will be published in the journal «Physico-chemical mechanics of materials», which is included in the list of scientific specialized publications of Ukraine (category A) in the field of technical, physical and mathematical sciences, as well as translated into English and published by Springer Science + Business Media, Inc. (Materials Science). Indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, and Scientific periodicals of Ukraine database.
A necessary condition for the conference materials publication is the author’s speech on the report.
To participate in the conference, it is necessary to send an application with the title of the report and the data about the authors (name, scientific degree, place of work, e-mail) by e-mail to oksana.v.hembara@lpnu.ua by June 15.
