On December 14–15, 2021, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Regional Aspects of Implementing Mechanisms for Social and Professional Adaptation of Servicemen, War Veterans and Members of Their Families» will be held in the room 214, the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The purpose of the scientific meeting is to discuss topical issues of social and professional adaptation of servicemen, war veterans and members of their families at the regional level and in territorial communities.
Directions of the conference
- Implementation problems of the professional adaptation model for servicemen, veterans and members of their families of the project «Ukraine-Norway» «Retraining and social adaptation of servicemen and members of their families in Ukraine» within the budget program KPKVK 1501040 in terms of social and professional adaptation of ATO / OOS participants at the regional level..
- Opportunities to create regional and territorial community programs on social and professional adaptation of servicemen, war veterans and members of their families.
- Creating an inclusive educational environment in higher education institutions in order to organize such an educational process, which is based on combining new professional knowledge, skills and social competencies, which increases the participation of servicemen, veterans and members of their families in society.
- Areas of cooperation of military higher education institutions with other educational institutions on the implementation of the concept of lifelong learning for servicemen, war veterans and members of their families in priority specialties at the regional and local labour market.
The conference will be attended by representatives of various institutions, including the President of the Charitable Foundation «International Foundation for Social Adaptation», Director of the Lviv House of Soldiers, Head of the public organization BRIT, Head of the rehabilitation center for combatants «Phoenix», Head of the public organization «Volunteer Search and Rescue Association», as well as representatives of such Ukrainian universities as: Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Uman National University of Horticulture, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Uzhhorod National University, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, Western Ukrainian National University, Cherkasy State Technological University, Podillia State University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, University of Manitoba (Canada).
