On October 18, 2023, within the framework of the project «European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» (EUSTS) and with the support of the EU Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet, there will be an offline interactive event «Dissemination of best practices in teaching European studies and creation of interdisciplinary programs in higher education institutions of Ukraine: exchange of experience with the faculty of the Institute of Power Engineering and Control Systems». The event was organized by the team of the Center «European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic».
Professor Yaryna Turchyn, head of the EUSTS project; Associate Professor Nataliia Vovk, participant of the EUSTS project; Associate Professor Tetiana Rymar, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Deputy Head of the Department of Heat Engineering and Thermal and Nuclear Power Plants, the Institute of Power Engineering and Control Systems, guarantor of the educational program for the first year bachelor’s students majoring in Nuclear Energy, as well as Associate Professor Ivanna Vasylchyshyn, Candidate of Technical Sciences, head of the scientific and methodical commission of specialty 141 «Electric Power, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics», will share their experience and their own vision for the introduction of European studies.
The practical part of the event with the use of interactive learning methods for the formation of knowledge about EU energy policy will be conducted by trainers in teaching methods, participants of the EUSTS project – Associate Professors Olha Ivasechko and Oleh Tsebenko, Department of Political Science and International Relations. Associate Professor Oleksandr Markovets, Department of Social Communications and Information Activities, Associate Professor Lidiia Kasha, Department of Electromechatronics and Computerized Electromechanical Systems, Associate Professors Iryna Sukhorolska and Olena Lukachuk, Department of Political Science and International Relations, also joined the organization of the event.
