Заставка презентації

On December 17, 2021, on the eve of the International Migrants Day, there will be a presentation of the study «Ukrainians of Turkey: Society, Identity and Future» conducted during 2021 by the team of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University.

At the event you will have the opportunity to learn: what are the Ukrainians of Turkey, how they integrate into the new society, how they preserve their identity and how they see their own future. In addition, together with the participants in the interactive mode we will study the experience of Ukrainians in Turkey, which can be useful to other young Ukrainian communities in different countries.

What do we offer at the event?

  1. Presentation of a qualitative study of Ukrainians in Turkey.
  2. Best practices from Ukrainians who are building their communities at a tremendous pace and demonstrating an example of effective cooperation with Ukrainian diplomatic institutions.
  3. Open discussion and networking.

The survey of Ukrainians in Turkey is one of a series of surveys conducted by the IECDR to learn about Ukrainian communities on different continents (more on this you can learn on the Institute’s website). This time we were supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Turkey and Lviv Regional State Administration, in particular, the Department of International Technical Assistance and International Cooperation.

We invite Ukrainian public activists and volunteers from abroad, researchers and experts on migration, as well as representatives of public authorities and all those interested in the development of Ukrainian communities abroad and modern migration.
