Today we have to work in difficult conditions of martial law. Many employees and students combine their main activities with volunteering, as assistance to our Armed Forces and the state has become a priority for every Ukrainian. This requires additional resources and more energy.
Life in the conditions of war requires some other approaches to the organization of education and work with youth. The role of the teacher is expanding, there are often situations when in addition to pedagogical skills you need to show empathy, understanding and compassion. Thus, there is an important task – to emotionally support the student, and eventually give yourself the right to experience different feelings.
In this regard, the Department of Employee Training and Development, Lviv Polytechnic National University, organizes a consultative seminar on «Effective communication as a basis of mental health» which to be conducted in the format of answers and questions. The event will be held with the participation of Professor Iryna Sniadanko, Head of Department of Theoretical and Applied Psychology.
