Practical verification of the pilot device “Visual-manual tracking complex for the blind” was carried out by manufacturing several test modifications: a budget, autonomous device with advanced sensory capabilities, multi-factor data processing, and the ability to connect to artificial intelligence systems for analysis; a budget device with increased autonomy; and a prototype generator of a multi-level tactile contour of the environment.
The developed “AI wrist assistant system” solves the mobility problems faced by people with visual impairments through the use of advanced technologies (artificial intelligence). It allows users to accurately determine their location, plot the necessary routes, and receive audio information about their surroundings. The wrist assistant can become an indispensable companion for everyday walks and trips, helping to safely avoid obstacles and navigate unfamiliar places.
