In order to promote and study the European idea, disseminate European experience in Ukraine on quality management in education and industry, a training session was held at the Lviv Polytechnic National University on March 5-6, 2025. The event was organized within the framework of the international educational project Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module 101085516 — QMSEEI — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH "European Experience in Implementing Quality Management Systems for Products and Services."
Target audience of the training: Representatives from educational institutions, enterprises, and organizations in Western Ukraine.
The training was opened by the Director of ICTA, Associate Professor Yuriy Kostiv, who emphasized the relevance of the event's topic. He also highlighted that, despite the high rankings Lviv Polytechnic has achieved nationally, the university continues to focus on improving the quality of its educational services by utilizing European experience.
The training program was rich and engaging. Over the course of two days, 12 presentations were delivered, and practical sessions were held.
Speakers/Participants of the Creative Team for the Implementation of the QMSEEI Project:
- Professor Tetiana Bubela, Head of the Department of Information and Measurement Technologies (IMT), presented on the risk-based approach in ISO 9001.
- Associate Professor Alla Ivanyshyn, Head of the Department of Information Technology and the QMSEEI Project, shared European and international approaches to quality management, as well as the specifics of certification and internal audits of quality management systems for products and services.
- Professor Roman Baitsar, Department of Information Technology, gave a report on personnel in the quality management system: development, motivation, and conformity assessment.
- Professor Vasyl Yatsuk, Department of Information Technology and Communication, presented on the digitalization of quality assurance based on European experience.

Participants actively engaged in discussions, exchanging knowledge and experiences on managing and ensuring the quality of products and educational services.
At the end of the training, a test was conducted to assess the participants' understanding of the topics covered. The results confirmed that the attendees had gained knowledge on the discussed subjects.
The participants highly appreciated the organization and content of the course, expressed hope for continued cooperation and exchange of experience with specialists from Lviv Polytechnic, and expressed plans to continue exploring European experiences in various fields.
