The state scholarships to prominent education workers are appointed for a period of two years in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated September 29, 2023 No. 605/2023 «On the award of state scholarships to prominent figures of education».
Among these education workers there are three representatives of Lviv Polytechnic National University:
- Petro Kaleniuk – born in 1947, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, outstanding education workers of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Mathematics, the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Fundamental Sciences;
- Ihor Kuzio – born in 1946, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Robotics and Integrated Mechanical Engineering Technologies, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport;
- Yosyp Yatchyshyn – born in 1943, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Physical, Analytical and General Chemistry, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies.
