Made in Italy: an exhibition of students’ creative project

On June 12, the Department of Applied Linguistics hosted an exhibition of students’ creative project ideas on the topic of the communication and promotion of the Island of Capri through cultural and strategic Sectors, including architecture, fashion, cuisine, music, dance, art, and sports, as well as the values associated with the concept of Made in Italy.

The students’ projects were carried out under the guidance of Prof. Fabio Converti, visiting professor at the Department of Applied Linguistics from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli (Italy), within the framework of his original course Communication of Made in Italy and the course Italian Language: Beginner Level.

The participants were welcomed by Mr. Carlo Colonnella, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute at the Embassy of Italy in Ukraine, and Ms. Melania Esposito, a representative of the Capri administration. They emphasized the importance of intercultural dialogue, highlighted the key role of such initiatives, and expressed hope for continued fruitful cooperation.

The students presented their projects in Italian. Bravo to all participants, especially to the second-year philology students: Mariia-Mahdalyna Kusmyna (FL-22), Daryna Novak (FL-22), Olena Narepekha (FL-22), Yaryna Kuzio (FL-22), Yuliia Fitel (FL-22), Mariia Mytnyk (FL-23), Oleksandra Paiuk (FL-25), and Khrystyna Sidliarchuk (FL-25); design students: Anastasiia Bab’iak (DS-24) and Viktoriia Mykhalchuk (DS-21); and tourism students: Yuliia Podolianka (TU-21) and Roksolana Chekh (TU-21).
