Jubilee X Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Conference «Polymers of special applications» will be held from September 21 to 24, 2020 at the Department of Chemical Technology of Plastics Processing, Lviv Polytechnic National University. The conference aims to promote scientific exchange of ideas and experiences as well as to discuss current theoretical and applied problems of synthesis and processing of polymer and composite materials.
Organizers – Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities (Radom, Poland) and Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology (Dnipro, Ukraine).
The main issues to be discussed at the conference
- Synthesis and application of polymers (electrochemical devices (batteries, supercapacitors), membrane technologies for purification of liquids and gases, renewable energy (solar collectors, heat accumulators), space technologies (aircraft coatings, structural materials), biomedical engineering, natural and biodegradable polymers, polymeric materials based on renewable raw materials, ionic liquids).
- Technology of polymeric and composite materials.
- Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies.
- Paints, printing materials and coatings.
The opening of the conference and plenary sessions will take place in the form of a video conference on September 21, 2020 from 14:00 to 17:00 in room 026 in the VIII academic building of Lviv Polytechnic National University. Section meetings will be held from September 22 to 24 in the form of a video conference from 10:00 to 17:00.
