From 17 to 21 February 2025, the Department of Automated Control Systems, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic, will host the Online Winter School «A European Approach to Data Governance».
The Winter School will be conducted by the faculty of Lviv Polytechnic National University – participants of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module European Data Strategy: Data Governance for New Opportunities (№ 101127839 – Data4EU – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH) with the support of the European Union.
There will be master classes, workshops and practical classes with invited speakers from leading Ukrainian IT companies to learn the principles of Big Data, machine learning, data analytics and visualisation, and data security.
The Winter School is open for bachelor’s and master’s students. To participate in the event, you need to register by 15 February 2025.
Participants will be selected on a competitive basis, and the results will be announced by 16 February.
Students can receive 1.5 ECTS credits, which can be transferred to relevant courses. The condition for obtaining the certificate is that the student attends at least 80% of the classes and uploads an individual written work with a passing score of 40% by 28 February 2025.
