The Department of Graphics and Book Art, the Institute of Printing and Media Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic, invites schoolchildren to participate in the Summer School «Graphics and Design in the Creative Industry».
The events of the Summer School will take place from 11 to 13 June in the creative atmosphere of graphic workshops at the following addresses: 3 Lychakivska St.; 17 Pidvalna St.
Participants will take part in letterpress workshops where they will try their hand at linocut, cardboard applications and experiments with textured elements. The programme includes workshops on composition, storyboarding and monotyping, as well as creating a book and a miniature book.
The lectures will cover the history of Lviv graphic workshops, calligraphy practice and illustrations for children’s publications. One of the highlights will be an interactive graphics workshop where participants will learn how to combine games, animation and traditional techniques.
The school includes different quests, smart quizzes, interactive polls, as well as summing up the results, presenting certificates and gifts.
Participation is free with prior registration.
