The Summer School «Digital Education for Teachers and Students: Augmented Reality for Education» takes place in a hybrid format both online and offline in room 104, Department of Automated Control Systems, V academic building of Lviv Polytechnic National University (28a Bandery St.) on 9–13 June 2025.
The event, organised by the Department of Automated Control Systems, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies within the framework of the educational project Augmented Reality for Education: Implementation of European Experience, the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Programme (No. 101085772 – AR4EDU – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH), will deal not only with existing developments in the field of augmented and virtual reality for education, but also the process of creating and developing such products.
The programme includes interesting lectures by augmented reality experts, masterclasses with demonstrations of finished products, practical testing of various products and games using Oculus Quest 2 VR glasses. Interesting examples of AI applications for teachers will also be discussed.
Teachers and lecturers from all fields of knowledge and areas of study are invited to participate in the Summer School. The participants will have a great opportunity to improve their knowledge of digital technologies, learn how to make them indispensable teachers’ assistants, increase student engagement in the learning process, and make the learning process bright, interesting, and memorable.
Based on the results of the Summer School, participants will receive certificates of professional development in the amount of 1.5 ECTS credits (45 hours).
Participation in the Summer School is free of charge. The number of places is limited.
