Speaking Club «New European trends and professional growth» within the EUSTS project

The interactive Speaking Club «New European trends and professional growth» will be held at Lviv Polytechnic National University on May 1, 2024.

The key speaker of the event will be Serhii Pylypiv, chairman of the Environment Committee of Rotary International District 2232, developer of the Green Mill compressed air windmill, CEO of the Grafix company. The company has gone its way from a small paint shop in 2010 to a company accredited in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard which has three branches in Ukraine (Kharkiv, Lviv and Vyshhorod) and is included in the top ranking of enterprises that effectively conduct foreign economic activities and enhance the prestige of Ukraine in the world.

Serhii Pylypiv, together with representatives of the Grafix company, will talk to students of Lviv Polytechnic about professional growth, continuous learning, choosing a profession, the trajectory of career development and will tell how to combine it with other areas of life (family and volunteering). He will also outline strengths and weaknesses of the CEO, the main criteria for team building, the practice of delegating the authority, and will share his personal experience of business relocation and the gradual restoration of the company during the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, improvement of existing and acquisition of competitive skills of a specialist of various branches, which will allow you to successfully pass an interview and make a positive impression on a potential employer, as well as will share secrets of his own success as the CEO of the Grafix company.

The venue for the event is room 141 (Siemens laboratory) in the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University (12 Bandery St.). The Speaking Club starts at 11:30.

Everyone who is interested in the development of European studies and the implementation of new European trends and standards in the field of professional growth of graduates of higher education institutions is invited to participate in the event.

The interactive event takes place as part of the implementation of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» (EUSTS) with the support of the EU Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet Actions.
