Science Winter School «Digital Solutions for Preventing Corruption in Public Service»

On 18–21 February 2025, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv will host the Science Winter School «Digital Solutions for Preventing Corruption in Public Service». It is co-organised by the Department of Regional and Local Development and the Department of Public Governance, the Institute of Public Administration, Governance and Professional Development (IPAG), Lviv Polytechnic National University.

Science Winter School will include a panel discussion «Prospects for the Implementation of Public Administration in the Context of Comprehensive Restoration and Development of Regions and Territorial Communities» moderated by Professor Liubomyr Pylypenko, Doctor of Economics, Director of the Institute of Public Administration, Governance and Professional Development, Lviv Polytechnic, and Associate Professor Taras Kitsak, Candidate of Public Administration, Deputy Director of the Institute.

The following IPAG researchers are scheduled to make presentations:

  • Professor Orystlava Sydorchuk, Doctor of Economics, Head of the Department of Regional and Local Development, Deputy at the Volyn Oblast Council, Head of the NGO «Union of Ukrainian Women»; Ruslan Baikevych, Candidate in Public Administration and Management – «Digital transformation in the field of economic security and anti-corruption: international practices and their adaptation to Ukrainian realities»;
  • Professor Volodymyr Martyniuk, Doctor of Economics, the Department of Administrative and Financial Management, – «The experience of EU countries in combating corruption»;
  • Professor Petro Petrovsky, the Department of Public Governance, Doctor of Public Administration, – «Ways to legitimise public authorities in the post-war recovery: the regional aspect»;
  • Associate Professor Kateryna Blishchuk, Candidate of Economic Sciences, the Department of Regional and Local Development, – «The role of digital competencies in manager training»;
  • Associate Professor Bohdan Ilychok, Candidate of Economic Sciences, the Department of Theoretical and Applied Economics, – «Efficiency of Public Administration of Budget Security of Ukraine».
