You are invited to attend The Chalk Circle: The Philosophical Afterlives of War, a four-day series of public lectures and an affiliated reading group led by philosopher Dr. Peter Osborne, taking place from June 24 to June 27, 2025, at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Organized as part of The Chalk Circle, the public program of the exhibition The Stammering Circle curated by Marta Kuzma, this program explores the relationship between modern European philosophy and war, from World War I to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Each day addresses a key philosophical concept—experience, existence, subjectivity, and world—through a lecture in the morning and a close reading group in the afternoon.
The Chalk Circle and The Stammering Circle are a part of Faktura 10, a core initiative of RIBBON International.
