Artificial intelligence is changing education and science right now. Are we ready for these changes?
On 24 March 2025, Lviv Polytechnic National University will host a panel discussion «University and AI: Challenge, Opportunity or Necessity?» in the Assembly Hall of the main building of the University.
The most pressing issues will be discussed, including:
- Will AI replace teachers and researchers in the next 5 years?
- Academic integrity in the AI era: help or plagiarism?
- What skills should universities develop to make students competitive?
Panelists:
- Taras Kytsmey – Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Lviv Polytechnic National University, the Co-Founder and Board Member of SoftServe;
- Professor Nataliia Shakhovska, Director of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, scientist;
- Oleksii Molchanovskyi, Chief Innovation Officer at the Ukrainian Catholic University;
- Oleksandr Kosovan – specialist in Al/Data Science, researcher, lecturer at UCU, mentor at Al House.
Moderator is Andrii Boichuk, lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems, ICSIT, Head of AI at blackthorn.ai.
