On April 21, 2023, a new laboratory «Designing games and virtual reality» will be opened at the Software Department, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic, thanks to the support of the N-IX and DataArt companies.
The Software Department trains specialists under the Software Engineering educational program. One of the optional blocks according to the educational program is Multimedia and Game Programming. This direction is supervised by the Department’s partner – the N-IX company, Programs of the disciplines Design and Development of Games and Virtual Reality were developed thanks to their support.
Also, thanks to the support of the N-IX and DataArt companies, a laboratory has been equipped. It will be solemnly presented to students on April 21 in room 410 in the V academic building of the University (beginning at 12:00). In addition, attendees can listen to a lecture Development of Games and VR. Industry Outlook by N-IX employees (Room 411).
Therefore, the Software Department invites you to come to the presentation of technologies for the development of games and virtual reality and learn about the peculiarities of the educational program Software Engineering.
