The International Winter School for Young Journalists will start at the Department of Journalism, and Mass Communication (JMC Department), the Institute of Law, Psychology and Innovative Science, Lviv Polytechnic National University on 2–3 December, 2025. The format of the event is online.
The Winter School will be held as part of the international educational project «From likes to votes: raising awareness of youth in electoral processes» (ProElect) with financial support from the European Union and The German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation.
School speakers:
- Nadiia Kovalchyk, graduate of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, journalist of the NTA TV channel (Ukraine);
- Veronika Roi, graduate of the JMC Department, communicator of the deputy faction in the Lviv City Council (Ukraine);
- Iryna Hirman, a graduate of the JMC Department, press secretary of the People’s Deputy;
- Volodymyr Teliuk, journalist, Deputy Director for strategic development at the OSINT agency InsightOps (Ukraine);
- Omar Mazzucchelli, giornalista non autorizzato, PhD, Department of Management Engineering, Politecnico di Milano (Italy);
- Nataliia Volosatska, journalist, host at the Slava TV channel (Poland).
