From 26 May to 6 June 2025, the Department of Applied Linguistics, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University, will hold an International Online Summer School «Communication and Translation in the Intercultural Dimension».
Participation in this event involves not only interesting interactive lectures by Ukrainian and foreign scholars, but also discussions and debates on topical issues of intercultural communication.
The event is organised for students, postgraduates, academics, translators and everyone interested in this topic.
Speakers of the school:
- Josh Prada – Assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics and Multilingualism at the University of Groningen’s Center for Language and Cognition;
- Lesia Hrechukha – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Linguistics and Translation, Cherkasy State Technological University;
- Svitlana Druzhbiak – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Linguistics, Lviv Polytechnic National University;
- Olha Kulyna – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Linguistics, Lviv Polytechnic;
- Liliia Chernysh – Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Linguistics, Lviv Polytechnic;
- Myroslava Duzha-Zadorozhna – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Linguistics.
