In the time of Russia’s genocidal war against Ukrainians, our perseverance, resilience and the unity of the Ukrainian global community are especially important. In this historically important period, when the fate of our independence, sovereignty and our existence as a nation is being decided, Ukrainian resilience is the best response to the aggressor and to the world that today lacks our determination and courage.
Ukraine and the global Ukrainian community are a single organism that is working together on the military, political, humanitarian and information fronts to repel the enemy.
- Have Ukrainian communities abroad changed due to Russia’s large-scale invasion?
- Has the arrival of war refugees, who have flooded countries on all continents, affected the growth dynamics of Ukrainian organizations?
- Have new communities been created and is there interaction between old and new organizations?
- What influences the growth of the public power of the Ukrainian community abroad?
- What forms of assistance to Ukraine are the most effective? What practices are community leaders willing to share with others?
- What factors influence the resilience of Ukrainian communities?
These and other questions will be discussed at the international panel «Ukrainian Communities Abroad: Resilience, Growth and Progress» in Zachariewicz Hall (room 214) of the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University on October 8, 2024.
