On December 20, 2023, with the support of the EU Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet, an interactive event «Dissemination of best practices in teaching European studies and creation of interdisciplinary programs in HEIs of Ukraine: exchange of experience with the faculty of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University» will be held online as part of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» (EUSTS).
The event is organized by the team of the Educational and Scientific Center «European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University. The participants will share their experience and visions for the introduction of the European studies, namely:
- Professor Yaryna Turchyn, Head of the EUSTS project;
- Associate Professor Nataliia Vovk, participant of the EUSTS project;
- Professor Nataliia Kotsan, Head of the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Institute of Poland;
- Professor Nataliia Pavlikha, Jean Monnet, Head of the Laboratory of Projects and Initiatives and the Scientific and Analytical Center «Sustainable, Inclusive and Smart Europe», Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University);
- Associate Professor Nataliia Romaniuk, coordinator of the EU Center at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University);
- Associate Professor Halyna Kopachynska, Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University).
The practical part of the event regarding the use of interactive teaching methods for the formation of knowledge about the EU as a responsible global actor of the modern system of international relations for students of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University will be conducted by teaching methods trainers, participants of the EUSTS project – Associate Professors Olha Ivasechko and Oleh Tsebenko, Department of Political Science and International Relations. Associate Professor Oleksandr Markovets, Department of Social Communication and Information Activities, Associate Professor Lidiia Kasha, Department of Electromechatronics and Computerized Electromechanical Systems, and Associate Professors Iryna Sukhorolska and Olena Lukachuk, Department of Political Science and International Relations, joined the organization of the event.
Everyone interested in the development of European studies in higher education institutions is invited to participate in the meeting. The event starts at 10:00.
