On October 4, 2023, an interactive event «Dissemination of best practices in teaching European studies and creation of interdisciplinary programs in higher education institutions of Ukraine: exchange of experience with faculty of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies» will be held within the framework of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» (EUSTS) and with the support of the EU Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet Actions.
The event is organized by the team of the Center «European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» together with the participants of such projects as DataProEU (Protection of Personal Data in the EU), TrustAI (Trustable Artificial Intelligence: European Approach), and AR4EDU (Augmented Reality in education: implementation of European experience), which are being implemented at Lviv Polytechnic.
Professor Yaryna Turchyn (head of the EUSTS project), Associate Professor Nataliia Vovk (participant of the EUSTS project), as well as Associate Professor Anastasiia Doroshenko, head of the DataProEU and TrustAI projects, and Professor Vasyl Tesliuk, head of the AR4EDU project, will share their experience and own vision on the implementation of European studies.
The practical part of the event with the use of interactive learning methods for the formation of knowledge about the EU as a global actor for students majoring in Computer Science will be conducted by teaching methods trainers, participants of the EUSTS project – Associate Professors Olha Ivasechko and Oleh Tsebenko (Department of Political Science and International Relations). Associate Professors Nataliia Vovk and Oleksandr Markovets (Department of Social Communication and Information Activities), Associate Professor Lidia Kasha (Department of Electromechatronics and Computerized Electromechanical Systems), and Associate Professors Iryna Sukhorolska and Olena Lukachuk (Department of Political Science and International Relations) also joined the organization of the event.
