On May 10, 2024, an interactive online event «Dissemination of best practices in teaching European studies and creation of interdisciplinary programs in higher education institutions of Ukraine» will be held within the framework of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» (EUSTS) and with the support of the EU Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet Actions. The event is organized by the team of the project «European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» together with the faculty of the National Aviation University.
The experience and visions regarding the implementation of European studies, taking into account the individual educational trajectory for entrants’ training and grant opportunities from the EU will be shared by:
- Professor Yaryna Turchyn (Head of the EUSTS project, Director of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Lviv Polytechnic National University);
- Professor Nina Rzhevska (Head of the Department of International Relations and Strategic Studies, the Faculty of International Relations, the National Aviation University);
- Associate Professor Nataliia Vovk (participant of the EUSTS project, Associate Professor at the Department of Social Communications and Information Activities, Lviv Polytechnic National University);
- Associate Professor Artem Sapsai (Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Strategic Studies, the Faculty of International Relations, the National Aviation University);
- Associate Professor Olena Lukachuk (INNOVATION HUB mentor, participant of the EUSTS project, Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University);
- Associate Professor Nataliia Borotkanych (representative of Ukraine in the program committee «Digitalization, Industry and Space» of the Horizon Europe research and innovation program, Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Strategic Studies, the Faculty of International Relations, the National Aviation University).
The practical part of the event with the use of interactive learning methods for the formation of knowledge about the EU as a responsible global actor of the modern system of international relations for students of the National Aviation University will be conducted by trainers on teaching methods, participants of the EUSTS project – Associate Professor Olha Ivasechko, the Department of Political Science and International Relations, and Associate Professor Oleh Tsebenko, the Department of Political Science and International Relations. Associate Professor Oleksandr Markovets, the Department of Social Communication and Information Activities, Associate Professor Lidia Kasha, the Department of Electromechatronics and Computerized Electromechanical Systems, and Associate Professor Iryna Sukhorolska, the Department of Political Science and International Relations, also joined the organization of the event.
