On 8 April 2025, within the framework of the project European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University (EUSTS) and with the support of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Program, an interactive event «Dissemination the best practices of teaching European studies and creating interdisciplinary programs in higher education institutions in Ukraine: exchange of experience» will be held online with the faculty and students of Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. The event was organised by the team of the European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The experience and vision of implementing European studies will be shared by:
- Professor Yaryna Turchyn, EUSTS project manager;
- Associate Professor Nataliia Vovk, EUSTS project participant;
- Professor Nataliia Rotar, Deputy Director of the Research Institute for European Integration and Regional Studies, Professor at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University;
- Professor Oleksandr Kyfiak, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Research and International Activities, Chernivtsi National University);
- Associate Professor Viktoriia Kyfiak, trainer within the CERGE-EI Foundation and Localising Economic Education for V4 Countries and Beyond projects, member of the ILCA project team under the EU EIT HEI Initiative);
- Associate Professor Olena Lukachuk, Innovation Hub mentor, EUSTS project participant.
The practical part of the event, using interactive teaching methods to develop knowledge about the EU as a responsible global actor in the modern system of international relations, will be conducted for students of Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University by trainers in teaching methods, EUSTS project participants – Associate Professors at the Department of Political Science and International Relations Olha Ivasechko and Oleh Tsebenko. Associate Professor Oleksandr Markovets, the Department of Social Communication and Information Activities, Associate Professor Lidiia Kasha, the Department of Electromechatronics and Computerised Electromechanical Systems, and Associate Professor Iryna Sukhorolska, the Department of Political Science and International Relations, also joined the organisation of the event.
Everyone interested in the development of European studies in higher education institutions is invited to participate in the event. The event starts at 10:00.
