Every year, January 28 is celebrated as World Personal Data Protection Day. On this occasion, within the framework of the Jean Monnet International Project «Protection of Personal Data in the EU and with the support of the European Union, Lviv Polytechnic National University for the fourth time organizes a conference for CEOs, CIOs, CCOs, DPOs, security officers, risk managers, HR managers, business analysts and IT lawyers, insurance and telecommunications companies, and banks.
Due to security requirements and quarantine restrictions, the conference will take place online on the Microsoft Teams platform. Participation is free.
The main purpose of the event is to discuss the situation with the implementation of GDPR in Ukraine, in particular, to identify problems and exchange existing experience, to discuss examples of successful implementation of GDPR in business processes, and to determine further prospects for the protection of personal data in Ukraine.
Objectives of the event
- Popularization of European principles of working with personal data of citizens in Ukraine.
- Organization of the exchange of practical experience of GDPR implementation between companies of different countries and different sectors of the economy.
- Determining the specifics of compliance with GDPR requirements by IT companies during the development of Big Data solutions and tasks of intellectual analysis of user data.
- Peculiarities of compliance with GDPR requirements by IT companies during remote work of employees.
- Advisory assistance to companies working with EU-citizen clients on business protection from fines and reputational risks.
The conference will be held on January 30, 2023. Beginning at 10:00.
