The Organising Committee invites teachers of higher education institutions, linguists, and students to participate in the All-Ukrainian Linguistic and Literary Conference «The Nation’s Code is in the Word» (dedicated to the International Mother Language Day), which will be held at the Professional College of Information Technologies at Lviv Polytechnic National University on 14 February 2025.
The aim of the event is to study the role of the Ukrainian language in the formation of national identity and its influence on contemporary Ukrainian literature in the context of globalisation.
Thematic directions of the conference:
- Linguistic identity as a basis of national identity
- Dialects of the Ukrainian language as a source of ethno-cultural code
- Internet vocabulary as a new layer of national language culture
- Contemporary Ukrainian literature as a mirror of social transformations
- Poetry of Maidan and the war: contemporary literary identity of Ukraine
The conference will be held in a hybrid format (online and offline).
