The 2nd Ukrainian-Polish Climate Forum on the topic «What are your schools and communities doing to stop climate change?» will be held online on 27 November, 2025, as part of the implementation of the project «EU Global Responsible Leadership: Climate Change, Environmental Protection and Humanitarian Aid» (EU_LEAD) with the support of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet program.
During the event, Stanisław Czachorowski, Professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, the Republic of Poland, as well as Olha Bilonizhka, project and program manager of the Zero Waste Alliance Ukraine public association, member of the Plast public organization and the Youth Council under the Ministry of Economy, Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Ukraine, will share their knowledge on climate change prevention and environmental protection.
During the youth panel, research projects on the topic of the Forum will be presented by students of secondary school No. 20 of the city of Lviv (Ukraine) and Jacek Kaczmarski secondary school in Olsztyn (Republic of Poland), including: Daria Frankova, Uliana Wojchyshyn, Victoria Wielkopolska, Grazyna Malek, Dorota Kruslinska-Zysk, Violetta Maciak (scientific consultants – Oksana Kai, Dmytro Ignatov, Grazyna Malek, Dorota Kruslinska-Zysk, Violetta Maciak). The event will end with a practical eco-panel, which will be held by Lidia Kasha, Associate Professor at Lviv Polytechnic National University, participant of the EUSTS project.
