Within the framework of the project, on May 27-29, 2024, the National Seminar “Experience of Implementing Climate Management Module in the Educational and Professional Program for the Second (Master's) Level of Higher Education” will be held at Lviv Polytechnic National University to disseminate best practices in the implementation of the Erasmus + KA2 project “Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention” / CLIMAN 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.
The event will include:
- Expert reports on the development of climate management research in the European Union and Eastern Europe,
- Presentations of best practices in implementing climate management programs,
- Dissemination of experience and achievements in promoting climate research by the universities participating in the Ukrainian project,
- Experience in implementing the European Green Deal at Lviv region enterprises (such as the Municipal Enterprise "Green City" and the construction of a mechanical and biological complex for the handling and processing of solid waste).
The national seminar will be interesting and beneficial for a diverse audience, including representatives from higher education institutions, NGOs, government agencies, students, applicants, experts in the field of climate management, and anyone interested in climate change prevention, adaptation, and mitigation. Attendees will have the opportunity to establish new contacts, communicate, and further develop this topic within their university or organization.
Project Erasmus + KA2 “Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention” / CLIMAN 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP aims to assist universities in Georgia and Ukraine in becoming centers for the advancement of climate management research. The project seeks to accelerate their integration into the global climate market and facilitate compliance with global climate regulation requirements by implementing the best European practices in the fields of climate change mitigation, adaptation, and management.
