The Project Office invites University researchers to pay attention to the competition Energy Performance of Buildings – Creating the conditions to make renovation faster, deeper, smarter, service- and data-driven within the framework of the Programme for Environment and Climate Action (LIFE).
This theme covers several areas that are key to achieving the European Union’s ambitious targets for building decarbonization. The main objective is to develop and implement approaches that bring together actors, markets, frameworks and innovative solutions to increase the attractiveness of building retrofits and reduce the administrative, logistical and financial burdens associated with building retrofits.
Proposals are expected to focus on one of three areas:
- promotion of large-scale deep reconstruction;
- regulatory and administrative framework;
- energy data and building services.
The budget is €11,000,000.
