Polyphonia Chamber Orchestra performed music by contemporary composers – both Ukrainian and foreign: the suite «In the Mountains» by Mykola Kolessa, mezzo-soprano solo with the chamber orchestra «Oh, the mountain blooms» by Ihor Kushpler, arranged by Viktor Kaminskyi, and Fratres for solo violin and the orchestra by Arvo Pärt.

The People’s Chamber Orchestra of Lviv Polytechnic was invited to join the annual international festival Khmelnytskyi ChamberFest by organizers of the festival.

The concert took place on October 17 at the Khmelnytskyi Philharmonic. On this day, the Galician Chamber Choir «Yevshan» from Lviv also performed on the same stage. Together they performed Dona nobis pacem by Peteris Vasks.

Participation in the festival proves not only a well-deserved recognition of their work, but also is an important and extraordinary event for the amateur team, which during quarantine has significantly limited their concerts. According to the director of the orchestra Roman Kreslenko, it was a breath of fresh air.
