Lviv City Makers’ Course soon begins in partnership with Lviv Polytechnic

Architects, students and activists will study integrated urban development within the Lviv City Makers’ Course. Lviv City Makers’ Course is a syllabus in the field of urban development. The project was created jointly by Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany), the NGO Stadtagenten (Germany) and the City Institute (Ukraine). It is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

The partners of this syllabus are Lviv City Council, the Institute for Spatial Development and Lviv Polytechnic National University. The course program was developed by a team of Ukrainian and international experts, study starts in October 2018.

The first public event with the participation of Yulian Chaplinskyi, Chief Architect of Lviv, Mark Heinisch and Stefan Poenak, the representatives of Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, will begin on October 12 at 17:30 in the City Institute (1 Rynok Square, room 108). Participants will talk about the current state of the development of urban planning in Ukraine and Germany.
