Grant from the USAID HOVERLA Project: design, certification and roll out of English language courses

The Project Office, Lviv Polytechnic National University, informs that the USAID HOVERLA is looking for an organization to implement a grant project aimed at the design, certification and roll out of professional English language courses for select civil servants and officials of local self-government bodies.

HOVERLA will provide a grant to train up to 2,000 civil service and local self-government officials throughout Ukraine, excluding currently occupied territories and Crimean Peninsula. Priority will be given to representatives from 80 HOVERLA partner CTCs from 9 HOVERLA target Oblasts (Lviv, Volyn, Poltava, Rivne, Odesa, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Chernihiv, and Sumy Oblasts).

As a result of grant implementation, the following goals should be achieved:

  • support of design, certification and roll out of professional English language courses for select civil servants and local government officials
  • enhancement of the English language proficiency of civil servants and local self-government officials.

On September 12, 2023, at 15:00, USAID HOVERLA Project staff will hold an online presentation where potential applicants can ask questions and get detailed information about the competition. This online presentation may be accompanied by sign language interpretation.

The total amount of funding within the competition is up to USD 500,000 in hryvnia equivalent.

Applications are accepted until 17:00 on September 28, 2023.
