The regular games of the 6th round of the Ukrainian Handball Championship of Women’s Premier League took place on February 12 and 13, 2021 in Lviv. The Lviv Polytechnic handball club competed with Rivne School No. 4. Our team won twice with a score of 44:24 and 37:17, the girls and the coach consider this result brilliant.

Our handball players managed to get two confident victories, which strengthened their leading position in the League. The matches were as fair as possible, the girls proved to be strong and worthy opponents.

«I am overwhelmed with emotions. I think we played great. Of course, there are no limits to improvement; it would be great to have slightly better results. But we won, that’s a fact,» says Olha Bratkovska, captain of the Lviv Polytechnic team.

Coaches Vitalii Nadych (Lviv Polytechnic) and Yurii Basiuk (Rivne School No. 4) were generally satisfied with the matches and do not plan to stop, but actively continue to prepare their teams for the next games of the season. The coach of our team appreciated the game, especially Maryna Savchuk, Liudmyla Martyniuk, Tetiana Mykoliuk and Yana Borysevych.

«The girls did their best, there were high level games, but something needs to be worked on. The next game is not far off – on February 18–19. We will meet Brovary within the Cup of Ukraine, so just in this short period we need to remove all the mistakes and shortcomings», says Vitalii Nadych, coach Lviv Polytechnic team.
