For the third time, the Lviv Photo Museum gathers the photographic community for the festival. This year Lviv Photo Festival 2021 will last almost a week – from August 16 to 21. Lectures, book presentations, master classes, opening of exhibition projects and other interesting events are planned every day.
The program includes two events that will take place on August 16 in the reading hall of the Scientific and Technical Library, Lviv Polytechnic National University (1 Profesorska Street):
- 12:00 – lecture «Photo archive of Stepan Haiduchko as an important source for studying the November battles for Lviv in 1918». The lecture will be given by Andrii Sova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Olympic Education, Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture.
- 14:00 – lecture-attempt to present the known (light) and unknown (shadow) photo of Berezhany in 1865–1930 «Light and shadow of the photo chronicle of old Berezhany». The lecture will be given by Mykola Protsiv, Deputy Director for Research at the Berezhany Museum of Local Lore.
