From August 28 to 29, 2018 Mariana Senkiv, the lecturer of the Department of Tourism of Viacheslav Chornovil Institute of Sustainable Development of Lviv Polytechnic, took part in the School of Universal Design for lecturers of higher education institutions.
The event was held in Kyiv within the Joint Program «Promotion of Integration Policy and Services for People with Disabilities in Ukraine», implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in cooperation with the World Health Organization and the International Labor Organization with the support of the UN Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The philosophy of universal design, its principles and ways of application in various spheres, in particular in tourism, were discussed at the event.
