The First International Scientific and Practical Conference «Independence of Ukraine: Human Rights and National Security» was held on May 21, 2021. It was organized by the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law, Constitutional and International Law, the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The conference was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. This has necessitated the intensification of interdisciplinary research in the field of National Security and Human Rights. Well-known foreign and Ukrainian researchers and practitioners in this field took part in the conference.
We hope that the speeches of the distinguished participants at the plenary and sectional meetings, discussions, as well as publication of the conference materials will contribute to the further development of the issues of Ukraine’s independence, human rights and national security in the difficult conditions of reforming Ukrainian society.
