On 26 November, the Lviv Polytechnic Academic Board unanimously selected the winners of this year’s competition «The Lviv Polytechnic Philanthropist of the Year».
According to the decision of the University Academic Board (Minutes No. 17 of 26.11.2024), the Lviv Polytechnic Philanthropists of the Year 2024 are:
- in the nomination «Philanthropist of the Year – Legal Entity»:
- Trimble Inc;
- in the nomination «Philanthropist of the Year – Individual»:
- Jacob Dalhoff;
- Igor Pasemko;
- in the category «Philanthropist of the Year – Best Volunteer»:
- Christopher Watson, President of GREENFIELD INVESTMENTS USA, LLC.
The award ceremony of the Lviv Polytechnic Philanthropist of the Year 2024 will take place at 15:00 on 11 December. The purpose of this event is to recognize legal entities and individuals who have made charitable and irrevocable contributions to the development of Lviv Polytechnic during the year, as well as conducted social activities for the benefit of the University on a pro bono basis.
We would like to remind you: In order to confirm the status of the Philanthropist of the Year and to ensure systematic work in the area of fundraising, our University approved the Regulations on the Procedure for Determining and Awarding Philanthropists of the Year at Lviv Polytechnic in 2019.
Nominees can be persons who have made a charitable contribution to the development of the University for the current year of at least UAH 1 million for legal entities and at least UAH 100 thousand for individuals.
