The teams of 7 higher education institutions of the region took part in the powerlifting competitions among women within the Universiade 2018 in Lviv region. In accordance with General Regulations of the Universiade, the winners were determined by the sum of points of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift in 7 weight categories.
According to the results of the competition, the team of Lviv Polytechnic National University won the first place (1134 points), students of Lviv National Agrarian University took the second place (1039 points) and the team of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University – the third place (935 points).
